Building progress 1

Hi all


I have been slacking in updating this blog however the building process is coming along well! We started building Last Wednesday May 25th and however it was hard and brutal work for all the volunteers the one that persevered the most was Don our carpenter. We started off a little unsteady in the morning trying to level out the ground with a really small rototiller.The civil students completing the grunt work.  The morning was a little hectic trying to gather all the parts together; saw, bolts (cant remember the correct name for them). However it turned out good in the end as our carpenter finished all 8 of the plots and started backfilling them in.

Thanks to Don and the donation of the tools and cooperation of Jessica we were able to get 3 of the plots complete by Wednesday June 1st.

As of June 1st the first three are completely finished and ready to be gardened.
